My friend bought this sweet 2000 Sliverado Z71 1500. Bought it for $4500 about two weeks ago. 5.3 Vortec, 4X4, extended cab. It has the typical Chevy rocker rust, but compared to most you see, it isn't that bad. It has 181,000 miles on it, still runs strong. The engine bay is clean as hell, which is what surprises me most. It isn't perfect, but, damn, is it a fun truck. Sorry for the bad pics, I took all 4 after we got done with some minor off-roading. What does Oppo think?
Took these next ones today in a hurry earlier today. We ended up installing some fender flares later on tonight, I'll have to take pictures later. He also put on a toolbox, which you can see in the potato pics.

Lol, yeah. He's planning on new tires in the spring. We aren't doing any crazy mudding, just amateur stuff for fun.

Where do you live? Depending on the location, I would upgrade before spring. There are plenty of Mud+Snow tires on the market.

SE Michigan. I agree, I told him he should upgrade before winter strikes. But he wants to wait, I guess. His truck, his money, so I guess I won't bother him.

It amazes me that a truck with that many miles, can still bring that much money.
I had one like that, in silver. Great truck!

Yeah, they really command a premium these days. He looked at worse trucks than his that costed over $6k. The demand is high, so the price keeps rising.
Cool! Yeah, he seems to be really happy with his purchase. I personally think it is pretty great.
